WHO WE ARE
Hi there! We’re David and Liam—thanks so much for popping by. We first met back in 2016 through mutual friends. At the time, Liam was working for the NHS and David was a Civil Servant in Wales. From day one, we’ve shared a love of good food, great conversation, and making people feel at home.
In 2024, we decided it was finally time to stop saying “one day” and take the leap. That dream of running our own Café and B&B became a reality -and that’s how Riverbarn was born.
Hosting has always been second nature to us. Whether it’s a big Sunday lunch with friends or a last-minute visit from family, we’ve always found joy in welcoming people in, feeding them well, and creating space for connection. With Riverbarn, we’re doing just that - only now, the guest list is a little bigger!
Our hope is that when you visit, it feels easy, warm, and wonderfully personal- like staying with old friends.

OUR ACCOMMODATION
At our cosy bed and breakfast in Fonthill Bishop, we’ve created rooms to suit every kind of stay- from snug hideaways perfect for two, to spacious suites made for a little extra indulgence. Each room has its own private entrance, a beautifully finished ensuite, and handcrafted furnishings from local makers.
All our rooms at Riverbarn are pet-friendly, with a £10 charge per pet (per stay).
Our Suite also includes a sofa bed that can sleep two children under 16, for an additional £25 per child per night. Simply add this when selecting your guests in ‘Book your Stay.’
